Microsoft introduces the Power Automate to help business and users to automate manual and repetitive tasks within their processes such as data export, sending e-mail notifications and reminders, and even automating the approval processes, using various connectors within Power Automate, almost nothing is impossible.
We already know about the Approvals connector and the approval types within this connector – there is Create an approval, Wait for an approval, and Start and wait for an approval. And now, Microsoft releases a new approval type called “Sequential Approval” that is available for Create an approval and Start and wait for an approval.
This feature is available in early release environments.

In this new approval type coming, users are allowed to create a step-by-step approval process by only utilizing a single approval action. When the approval starts, it will send approval notification to the first approver, afterwards, once the first approver approves the request, it will automatically send approval request to the succeeding approvers until it has been completed.

Users can add up to more steps of approvers for a single approval action – by proving the email addresses of the approvers manually. You can also add list of approvers dynamically by using the JSON format of the Approval steps as shown in the image below.

With this feature coming up, there will be a lot of business case scenarios that will be discovered, and this connector will sure be the new approach.
